A one-page directory, built the day of the earthquake, by someone who felt it.

On 10 August 2026 at 7:34 in the morning, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck western Colombia with its epicentre near San José del Palmar, Chocó. It was felt across nine departments. It was the strongest earthquake recorded in Colombia in a decade.

Within hours, searching for how to help produced a mess: news liveblogs with donation links buried twelve paragraphs down, aggregator pages stuffed with ads, and a lot of organizations that had not actually said anything about Colombia. This page exists to be the boring, fast, correct version of that search.

How organizations get listed

• The organization publicly confirmed a response to this earthquake, on its own website or through direct quotes in established news coverage.
• It accepts donations through its own channels. Every link points at the organization, never at an intermediary.
• Colombian organizations are listed alongside international ones, because they are frequently the fastest route to the affected departments and are routinely left off English-language lists.

How this page makes money

It does not. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no referral codes, no sponsorships, no tracking pixels selling your attention onward, and no donations collected here. Nobody paid to be listed and nobody can. If that ever changes, this paragraph changes first.

What this page deliberately does not have

No casualty counts. In the twelve hours after the quake the reported death toll moved several times as assessments came in. A number typed into a static page becomes wrong quickly and then quietly misinforms people. For current figures, go to a live news source.
